Is Tovi really safe for kids?
Yes. There are no ads, no third-party analytics on the child screens, no open chat, and no user-generated content. Every story is moderated for age-appropriate language before it reaches your kid.
What ages is Tovi for?
2 to 12. Onboarding picks an age band (2–3, 4–5, 6–8, 9–12) and every story is written to that band's vocabulary and length.
Does Tovi need internet?
Yes, for making a new story — Tovi builds a fresh picture book in the cloud. Once saved to your library, stories play offline on Premium.
Can I control what themes appear?
Yes. Parent settings let you allow or block themes like "witch," "monster," or "sad ending" so the story tab stays comfortable for your family.
How is my child's data used?
Only to personalise their stories. We store a first name, age band, and gender (for pronouns) — nothing else. You can delete it any time. See our privacy policy for the full details.
